What started with a passion for creating exceptional gin in Devon has grown into something much bigger.
Since Exeter Gin was established in 2017, our collection has evolved from our original Exeter Gin and Granny Garbutt’s Gin into a festival of flavours spanning gin, rum, tequila and vodka.
Nine years of distilling, experimenting, tasting and creating have resulted in a collection of around 15 different spirits, each with its own character, flavour and story.
Whether you're a long-standing Exeter Gin drinker, discovering Devon-made spirits for the first time or simply looking for something different for your next drinks night, there's plenty to explore.
From Exeter Gin to a Growing Family of Spirits
Exeter Gin was born in Devon with a desire to create a distinctive gin inspired by the history and heritage of Exeter.
Gin will always be an important part of our story, but over the years our curiosity has taken us much further.
Today, alongside our Exeter Gin and Granny Garbutt’s Gin ranges, you'll find an ever-growing selection of spirits including Exeter Rum, El Klinko Tequila and vodka.
From fresh, citrus-led flavours to warming spices, rich dark spirits and something with a little chilli kick, our collection has become a true festival of flavours.

Our journey began with gin, and we're still incredibly proud of the range we've created.
Our gins offer different flavour profiles, strengths and styles, making them equally at home in a classic G&T or as the starting point for your favourite gin cocktail.
They're created here in Devon and form part of a growing movement of independent South West producers putting quality, provenance and personality at the heart of what they make.

Rum for Every Season
Rum has become another important part of our collection, offering plenty of opportunities to experiment with different flavours and mixers.
For a fresh, easy serve, try White Rum with Mexican Lime Soda over plenty of ice. It's light, refreshing and lets the character of the rum come through.
Our darker rums can work beautifully with Mexican Lime Soda too, but as the evenings draw in and autumn approaches, try pairing a dark rum with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale.
It's simple, warming and just the thing for those first cosy evenings of the season.

Our El Klinko Tequila collection is all about flavour.
One thing we've discovered through tastings is that everyone has their own preferred way of drinking tequila – and that's part of the fun.
Try yours with Mexican Lime Soda, a light sparkling orange or Sicilian lemonade, or simply pour it neat and take your time over it. You'll discover flavour from the first sip with a finish that continues long after.
And for cocktail lovers, there's always the Margarita.
Our tequila with chilli makes a fantastic base for a Margarita, combining citrus, tequila and a gentle kick of heat. Get a few friends together, line up the Margaritas and you've got the makings of a very good evening.

One of the best things about having gin, rum, tequila and vodka to choose from is the number of drinks you can create at home.
You don't need a fully stocked cocktail bar or complicated equipment either.
A bottle of your favourite spirit, plenty of ice, fresh citrus and a selection of quality mixers can give you dozens of different combinations.
