A truly outstanding artisan Rhubarb Gin (40% abv). Zingy tones of fresh rhubarb combine beautifully with the sweetness of the wildflower honey and blackberries with a hint of vanilla and lemongrass.

Grandad’s Allotment is made using rhubarb from British farms, which is combined with Granny Garbutt’s Gin to further enhance the natural rhubarb flavour which retains its London Dry Gin roots unlike a liqueur and without artificial colourings, enhancers or sweeteners. A firm favourite with those who want a premium gin with true fruit coming through but not too sweet.

Grandad’s Allotment was where every kind of fresh produce was grown, Grandad even helped in the efforts to feed people in WW2 for which he was recognised and a copy of his certificate hangs in our gin school. Our family's love of fresh British produce was born there where as a family we spent long days having fun and being taught the value of what is around us. Grandad would also enjoy a cheeky gin or two in his makeshift shed whilst hiding from Granny.

"Days spent in Grandad's allotment was where we gathered as a family, it was our playground, a place where we were taught to appreciate growing food and wildlife.  It was very much if you pick something, you plant something, respect the land and the hard work that attributed to its raw but magical place to spend time.  It was a place of story telling and learning. When I drink this in a tall glass with a light Fevertree tonic I am instantly transported back to my childhood with siblings and cousins all being competitive and seeing who could eat the most rhubarb before the belly ache set it.  As a true Yorkshire man my grandad was the best grower of rhubarb, ever!
