A beautifully balanced Sloe Gin, crafted with sloes frozen in 2023 and infused with the natural sweetness of Devon wildflower honey, zesty orange and warming cinnamon.

The result is a rich, fruit-forward gin that brings together the deep, tangy tartness of ripe sloes with a gentle honeyed sweetness, lifted by bright citrus and a subtle hint of spice. Every sip delivers the perfect harmony of tart and sweet, with a smooth, warming finish that invites you back for another taste.

Made for slow sipping and savouring, enjoy it neat, over ice, or as a warming winter treat. It also makes a wonderful addition to seasonal cocktails.

With only 200 litres produced this year, as in previous years it's bound to fly off the shelves at this years Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market and Bath Christmas Market 

Our 2026 batch is truly irresistible addition to our Grandad's Allotment Gin range 

Grandad’s Allotment Gins are made using British fruit, combined with our original Granny Garbutt’s Gin to further enhance the natural fruit flavours retaining its London Dry Gin roots and without artificial sweeteners, colourings or enhancers. A firm favourite with those who want a premium gin with true fruit coming through.

Grandad’s Allotment was where every kind of fresh produce was grown, Grandad even helped in the efforts to feed people in WW2 for which he was recognised and a copy of his certificate hangs in our gin school. Our family's love of fresh British produce was born there where as a family we spent long days having fun and being taught the value of what is around us. Grandad would also enjoy a cheeky gin or two in his makeshift shed whilst hiding from Granny.

Founder Karen says;

"Days spent in Grandad's allotment was where we gathered as a family, it was our playground, a place where we were taught to appreciate growing food and wildlife.  It was very much if you pick something, you plant something, respect the land and the hard work that attributed to its raw but magical place to spend time.  It was a place of story telling and learning. When I drink this in a flute of Prosecco tonic I am instantly transported back to my childhood with siblings and cousins seeing who could pick the most Sloes and trying to get the purple standing off from our hands.  As a true Yorkshire man my grandad was the best grower of Sloes, ever!

I think we've captured everything described above in this years beautiful batch of Sloe Gin.  The right balance of tart Sloe & balanced sweetness allows the drinker to be transported to images of a warm open fire & family gatherings at Christmas.

Serving suggestions

Beautiful served simply over ice as a 'sipper' or alternatively, get the celebrations started served with a flute of Prosseco or Champagne if you're feeling a little indulgent !!
